We are a leading private rental housing provider in the Czech Republic and one of the largest in Central Eastern Europe, measured by the number of apartments owned and managed. We believe we are the market leader in providing good quality and affordable housing for a wide cross-section of tenants in the region in which we operate. Our entire portfolio is located in the Moravian-Silesian region, which is the third most populated region in the Czech Republic. Most of the units are located in and around Ostrava – the third-largest city and the second largest urban area in the Czech Republic. As of 31 December 2017, the portfolio consisted of 4,683 buildings (31 December 2016: 4,726 buildings), with 43,096 residential units (31 December 2016: 43,045 units) accommodating approximately 90,000 people, with a total floor area of 2.6 million sqm, 1,779 commercial units (31 December 2016: 1,780 units) as well as 227 hectares of total land including land upon which rental properties exists (31 December 2016: 230 hectares). Our portfolio (including the value of undeveloped land) was valued at CZK 30,049 million (€1,177 million) by JLL as of 31 December 2017, with the residential and commercial units in our portfolio valued at CZK 29,582 million (€1,158 million).
